Here is a list of questions that we are frequently asked, please follow the link to see our answer.» Do I need to wear black?
No. Often people are requested to wear a favourite colour of the person who has died.
» Do we need black limousines or a hearse?
No. You can choose to use your own cars and the coffin can be carried in our estate car or a traditional Victorian horse drawn carriage or any other suitable mode of transport associated with the deceased.
» Do I need to organise flowers?
No. Often a simple arrangement of a few favourite or wild flowers are placed on the coffin.
Sometimes no flowers are provided at all but this is down to your personal choice.
Donations in lieu of flowers are often made to a specific charity.
» Do I need to place an obituary notice in the newspaper?
It is normal to inform friends of someone's death. This can be done either by word of mouth or by placing a formal obituary notice in local papers or the national press. We will do this for you if you wish or you can arrange it personally.
» Can I choose not to have a funeral service?
We can provide a very simple but dignified cremation or burial without any ceremony and with just close family members or no one in atendance at all. This choice can be followed by a public service of Thanksgiving or Memorial in a meeting place or church.
