Acorn Funeral Service was established in 1997 as part of Newcastle & Gosforth Funeral Service to provide a more personalised / bespoke funeral to suit your exact requirements. We are aware of the ''conveyor belt''system of funerals that the larger funeral service organisations provide here in the North East.We feel that being totally independent,local,and not part of one of these companies we can give you the attention to detail and tailor each and every funeral to be as you require. Our premises are situated in Gosforth but our service extends to all of the North East.Our funeral directors Phillip Harrison and Mark Wait are available to discuss with you your individual requirements and you will be in contact solely with Phillip or Mark throughout the entire time between arranging the funeral and the funeral taking place. As members of the National Association of Funeral Directors we adhere to a strict code of conduct in giving the highest standards of care and professional help at a very difficult time. We also have a fair and transparent list of charges involved in arranging a funeral and will give you a written or telephone estimate on all the items involved.
